The subject is automatically added when fMMS sends the message (using the first 10 chars of the message). Really strange the SE only shows the subject though :/

Hi Frals,

yes that's it. Not just the first word but 13 characters sounds about right. I have no idea why - as far as I have figured out there is no separate subject/main text when writing an MMS with fMMS? It's all in the same body?

@Joris: Only the first word, or is it the first 10 characters of the message (might include ... for a total of 13)? If that's the case, her phone is only showing the subject of the message and not the actual message text. I've never heard of this problem before. It might be due to iffy SMIL-generation on fMMS part, but I *think* I fixed that problem ages ago. I'll see if I can reproduce it if I get my hands on a W995 :)

@Robert: Tap-and-hold on the image -> Open -> Go nuts! ;)

0.7 worked perfectly in havoc mode with T-Mobile US. Thank you.

Now all that is needed in the area of additional functionality is the ability to detach and save the file that is received via fMMS.

Hi there!

First off all a major thank you for writing this application and enabling MMS on the N900!

Now a question: I'm using fMMS (latest I tried was 0.6.2, just updated to 0.7.0 but haven't tested yet) but when I send an MMS to the mrs (we are both on Tre, Sweden), she only sees the first word of the message I write (and the image). I've asked in Meemo forums but no feedback as of yet - do you have any clue what the problem could be? She's using a SE W995 and having no problems with MMS from others.

Basically it looks a bit like it did on my X1; on that one, if I recall correctly, an MMS always consisted of a title and the main text; the title would appear cropped but when opening the MMS everything would show. In this case my written text appears cropped but nothing more comes up when she opens the MMS.

Am I messing up or what could be amiss otherwise?

Cheers

I would like to see an option to set the MMS access point, and then the program to automatically switch to that APN when it is loaded, this would make things alot easier for everyone, especially the new users of n900s who wont and dont have a clue about these things.

Is it possible to integrate it with contacts and the messaging app or has that already been achieved?
